Participant information

For camp, we are happy to accommodate dietary needs and religious beliefs. Think of allergies (nuts, gluten, lactose), vegetarian or halal food.

Please communicate this through the school so we can take it into account during camp week. Questions about this can also be directed to us through the school.

Does your child have an injury or physical disability? Please let us know through the school. Together we will look at which activities are still possible and how your child can remain involved in an appropriate way during the camp.

Never travel uninsured.

During the school camp in the Ardennes, students participate in various outdoor sports activities such as climbing, abseiling and mountain biking. To be well prepared for the trip, it is important that each child has appropriate travel insurance ncl. mountaineering risk coverage.

We ask parents/caregivers to check for themselves whether their travel insurance covers adventurous or high-risk activities. These are not always covered under standard coverage.

What can you do?
- Check if your travel insurance covers activities such as climbing and abseiling.
- If in doubt, contact your insurer and mention that it is a school camp with outdoor sports activities in the Ardennes.

In this way, together we ensure that all students participate in camp properly insured.

*In some cases the school takes out its own group insurance, you can check with your own school.

PBN's Outdoor locations are located in the valley of the Ourthe River. Sport Point is located near the town of Rendeux and Adventure Hill in Barvaux sur Ourthe. Both locations are about 325 km from Amsterdam.
