PBN Team Training & Onboarding

Learning by Experience

Theory is valuable, but experiences stick with you better. During our outdoor team-building sessions, participants are challenged with a variety of tasks in an inspiring setting. Active learning methods transform a training session from a “sender-receiver model” into an experiential learning environment. The impact on what participants ultimately take away and are able to do is many times greater. PBN has more than 40 years of experience with active and challenging programs that take teams out of their comfort zones and establish a direct link to real-world practice. We are TeamChangers.

PBN Team Training & Onboarding:

Outdoor Team Training Sessions: Be Challenged in Nature

With a wide range of team activities and unique training locations, PBN develops successful outdoor team-building programs in collaboration with trainers and training agencies to create successful team-building programs with a variety of objectives.

Belbin Team Roles Training: What value do you bring to the team?

The Belbin methodology was specifically developed to understand and optimize team dynamics. Instead of focusing solely on individual traits, Belbin focuses on the unique contribution each team member makes to a shared task. PBN’s certified Belbin trainers provide insight into the nine Belbin roles and let participants experience them through active learning exercises. Fun and educational.

Onboarding: A Quick and Effective Introduction

You want to integrate new colleagues or team members into the company culture and the team as quickly as possible. After all, people are at the heart of it all. Every colleague is a major investment, and you need to cherish them. Thanks to our unique onboarding philosophy and the Onboarding Event, your current and new employees will be engaged from day one and full of energy to get started. A win-win for everyone.

“Within an hour, we were a team; within a day, it felt like family”

Disc Behavioral Styles Training: How Do You Communicate?

DISC team training sessions provide clear insight into behavioral styles and communication preferences within a group. The method identifies how team members respond to situations, how they make decisions, and what motivates them when working together. PBN’s certified DISC trainers will give you insight into the four DISC profiles— Dominant, Influential, Steady, and Conscientious—and let you experience them through active learning exercises. Getting started with practical Team Assignments

Teamwork models offer insight and inspiration, but they do not automatically guarantee better collaboration and communication. You must practice this, because learning by doing is the key. Theory is useful, but experiences stick better. That is why it is important to talk less and experience more. Practical exercises with a clear goal and measurable effect ensure lasting results and allow teams to make mistakes and learn from them without risk. After each exercise, teams can formulate good intentions and apply them immediately in a subsequent assignment. This creates a rapid learning curve and ensures tangible progress.
