CSR Statement

We actively contribute to the development of the events & meetings industry in the Netherlands and share our knowledge with other companies operating in the same industry.

• We inform our customers and suppliers that we are socially responsible and have achieved the Green Key certificate Gold in 2012 through 2024. We make clear and transparent agreements with our customers and suppliers about the quality of our services and how we monitor quality.
• We determine the social impact of our services and mitigate it as much as possible to the extent of any negative impact, such as fraudulent conduct, harassment exploitation and child labor.
• We monitor both the continuity of our business and that of the employee by organizing in-service training and we make provisions should we face loss of income.
• We voluntarily contribute to social organizations such as: the association 'Friends of the Fort Island', KiKa foundation, Waka Waka foundation and Alpe d'HuZes foundation through donations, sponsorships and volunteer work. For more than 30 years we have annually sponsored the Oncology Children's Camp in the Ardennes: Autumn Noise.
• We are constantly working to reduce our environmental impact and increase the sustainable nature of our business. We separate all of our waste on the Fort Island, we only use biodegradable tableware during large events, all of our cleaning products are environmentally friendly and our catering is largely sustainable: an organic, fair trade or local product.
• We work continuously to improve our own procurement process and focus particularly on goods and services that are sustainable, preferably carrying an environmental sustainability and social label. All our toilet paper, hand paper and copy paper carry the European Ecolabel.
