Come pick up your Christmas gift basket at Forteiland IJmuiden!
This year, we’re going all out for the holidays. Because last year’s turnout was so great and the Christmas break falls very early in 2026, we’ve moved up the Fort Royale season and extended it.
.
So we’re starting as early as November and won’t finish until February! That not only means you can book earlier, but also that Fort Royale is now the perfect choice for a New Year’s event!
.
To get you in the mood and experience what our unique Fort Island has to offer, we—together with the Leonardo Hotel—invite you to a special afternoon event on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
• 3:30 PM: Welcome reception with drinks and snacks at the Leonardo Hotel
Welcome and introductions
• 4:15 PM: Ferry ride to Fort Island IJmuiden
Experience the Fort Royale program
• 5:30 PM: Pick up the first Christmas gift baskets
• 6:15 PM: Return to the Leonardo Hotel
We'll meet at the Leonardo Hotel IJmuiden. You can park in the large parking lot; we'll provide an exit ticket when you leave.
The Fort Royale Christmas Party on Forteiland in IJmuiden is a perfect blend of exciting activities, delicious food, and drinks. It’s the ideal experience that everyone will enjoy!
