Forteiland IJmuiden will open its doors on Sunday, November 30, for the second edition of an unforgettable wine and delicatessen tasting event, celebrating the last festive month of the year! Slijterij & Wijnhuis Zeewijck, Braun Wine, and Vinatic Slijterij will bring over 150 exceptional wines for tasting, but there’s much more to experience.
Be surprised by tasty bites from Kaasmarkt Captein, Vis-specialist Waasdorp, Slagerij van Olphen and Italian delicacies from Casabase, settle down for drinks with friends or family and enjoy live music in a unique setting. Between tastings, you can take part in a historical tour or join the fun wine tasting game.
Whether you are a wine lover or just fancy a casual afternoon of drinks, fine music and good company. Bourgondisch aan Zee offers the perfect mix for a relaxing getaway.
Tickets are now on sale! For just €12.50 per person, you can take the ferry to Forteiland, and for €22.50 per person (admission), you can enjoy the wine tasting.

Between 13:00 and 18:00 it is possible to discover the different wines offered on behalf of Slijterij & Wijnhuis Zeewijck, van Braun and Vinatic liquor store during this unique wine tasting.
Visitors will be treated to a culinary journey of discovery full of exquisite wines. Together with the wine importers, a fantastic selection of wines has been put together with big-name wineries, from highly refined whites to full-bodied robust reds that will complement your festive dinner.
During this cozy evening, enjoy the various appetizers from local entrepreneurs from the region. For example, a drinks board with refined French and Dutch cheeses from Kaasmarkt Captein, Italian delicacies from Casabase and from Slagerij van Olphen or fresh oysters from Fish & Seafood Waasdorp. Pinning is possible.
From 18:00 the drinks really begin, some selected wines from the tasting will also be available for purchase at the bar. There will be live music and enjoy a wonderful evening with friends in a unique historical location.
The boat leaves from the Kop van de Haven, Sluisplein 80 IJmuiden. It is free parking here. Due to construction work there is limited space at the Kop van de Haven, parking is also available within walking distance at the Halkade.
