Program Facilicom
Objective: To place High Potentials in challenging situations
Frequency: annually
Group size: Groups of up to 15 people
Target audience: young (25-35 years old) executives
Together with the Facilicom trainers of the L&D department, we developed a program in which we put the "High Potentials" within Facilicom in a challenging environment in the Ardennes. Team PBN facilitates the entire training where Facilicom trainers take care of the evaluation and 1 on 1 conversations with the participants. This trainer also supervises the High Potentials outside this training.
The training is characterized by challenging team exercises and surprising twists in the program to which the group must respond. It also zooms in on the role you take as a leader within assignments and on results. Questions such as± Who am I and what impact does my leadership type have? What do I stand for and how do I communicate this?
Specific exercises are:
- Arden Council. We create a setting where you are honest in expectations and answer 2 questions: Who needs a boost over the next few days? Who would you follow blindly over the next few days? This exercise gives insight into how others see you and challenges you to give honest feedback.
- Orientation run in which conditions for the evening can be improved and you can earn a good meal by making tactical decisions and properly identifying needs within the group
- Assignments with contrasting group and individual interests. What do you do as a leader when you yourself can win and the team will not be worse off, and what do you do when your team will be worse off?
- Collaborative exercises that seem impossible.
The High Potentials have always found these trainings very inspiring and gained much from the shared experiences.
