Police Team Vital "From Entry Level to Proficient."

Together with Team Vital of the police, we put together a program for the new colleagues of the police in which they are challenged in many different ways and moments to put them in uncomfortable situations in order to practice in a safe place with the Mental Tools they have been given during training.

Within the North Holland police force, Team Vital is concerned with the reintegration of colleagues and preventing them from dropping out. This is important for every company and even more so for the police. As an officer you have to deal with many different situations that demand the utmost of you on a physical level, but even more on a mental level. These huge spikes in mental load are challenging to deal with and that is why we have developed a program together with the trainers of Team Vital in which we challenge officers during a 4-day program in a safe environment. These challenges range from physical strain (long orientation trips), mental strain (Exercising at altitude or in depth) and ignorance. Each group of agents is guided in this by a Team Vital Trainer where TeamPBN facilitates in the exercises and supports in the evaluations.

During exercises we experience what tension does to your psyche and physically and how to deal with it personally, but also as a team. We go to the Ardennes for this so that we can arouse genuine fears and tensions during exercises at heights and exercises in tight spaces. In addition, the Ardennes ensure that the participants are focused on the process there and are not distracted by situations at home. The combination of physical and mental challenges and short nights allow fears and the uncomfortable to surface earlier and we can practice directly with the mental tools.

Raoul Tersteeg (Leadership team Vital, Vitality and Reintegration)

For years, we at the North Holland Police Department have been working with PBN and together we have been providing a wonderful program in the Ardennes to provide young graduate officers with tools so they can be more resilient and agile in their beautiful but intense job.

Cooperation with PBN is characterized by professionalism and expertise. Their team is not only friendly and adequate, but also knows how to respond perfectly to our specific needs. Every interaction testifies to their dedication to quality and customer focus, which makes our cooperation both enjoyable and effective.
