Soapbox race

Design, build and race, that's the Soapbox Race
Team building? Build a soapbox together. Which colleague has two left hands? Who stands out as a design talent? And which team member will be the daredevil behind the wheel? The soapbox race is the fastest way to really get to know each other.
During the Soapbox Race, there is something for everyone to do: buy materials, design, saw, screw, drill, paint in the paint shop and style with items scored from the auction.
Each team of 8-10 people gets its own workshop with tools and materials. In these garages, they will saw, carpenter and paint under supervision . After a test round and presentation, the Soapbox Race begins. Who oh who will win on speed, sturdiness and steering skills?

Pavilion Nova Zembla
The Soapbox Race can actually be organized at any location, but pavilion Nova Zembla lends itself best to this program. The Soapbox Race requires a lot of space for the pit lane and a ramp from which to start the race.
At Nova Zembla, we use the beach entrance to the North Sea beach for this purpose. The pavilion is exclusively for your group during the afternoon.
