Challenge them so they show their authentic behavior that allows you to see what someone is really like and if someone fits into the company culture. Recruit people who want to

Invite lots of participants to the Selection Event. Create lots of choice to find people who really want, have the right energy to join the team. Wanting is the basis of being able. When looking for a team member, start with the internal network they know who wants and could fit within the team. Social media makes it easy to reach specific target groups who might want to join the team. Create an image that people who want take action themselves to want to work at the company.

Recognizing actual behavior, authenticity

To know if someone fits on the team, you need to know what someone is actually like. Skills can be taught, changing behavior is much harder. To find out if someone has the right attitude you have to challenge people, take them out of their comfort zone. Then you can observe the real behavior. This is done quickly and efficiently by offering a varied and challenging activity program. By observing behavior you actually get to know someone.

The power of intuition

When selecting, dare to trust intuition; it usually provides quick and sharp insight. Intuition helps people make decisions in complex situations such as assessing how is someone actually is, does someone really fit into our team and company culture. What is corporate culture? A feeling. Intuitive action is not flawless but it is successful because intuitive choices make less use of our limited brain capacity.

Plan of action

  2. Plan a Selection event to which applicants will be invited.
  3. Selection day program with challenging activities at a special location where participants are observed, they can pitch and ask questions of the company.
  4. Final Choice. Choice validation, contract discussion
